IMPHY® 625 W shows outstanding corrosion resistance in various media. Special resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Excellent resistance to fatigue and stress corrosion cracking by chloride ions. Exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion due to sensitisation. Good resistance to oxidation and fouling at high temperature.
Applications
- Cladding of water wall sections and super heaters tubes in waste incineration plants by overlay welding.
- Welding of plates, sheets and tubes in the chemical process industry, in marine engineering and in pollution control equipment
